DIY Halloween Costume | #CricutCreated

While Halloween may look different this year, that shouldn't stop us from getting into the spirit of dressing up! If you need a last minute costume idea, or want to create your own, I've got some ideas for you. The easiest way to create a custom outfit is to make an iron-on vinyl t-shirt! This project requires a cutting machine, and I have partnered up with Cricut to show you how you can make a last minute costume with their Cricut Maker Machine!

I've been DIYing my familys' costumes for four years now, and I enjoy it behind semi-home made, personalized, and a cheaper alternative! I usually buy my daughter's outfit from the store and DIY my fiance and I's costume to match. For this project I am making a matching t-shirt and tutu costume for my daughter and I. We will be a woodland dear duo!

Cricut provides so many tools and materials to make this all possible, and easy to create! I will list all of the Cricut tools I used. I was most impressed by the new EasyPress Mini! For the full demonstration and tutorial, watch the YouTube video below!

I wanted to challenge myself by making my own headband for my daughter's costume. I drew inspiration from already made headbands I've seen at the store. I knew Cricut had the materials I wanted to use, including felt, faux leather and glitter cardstock. It was my first time experimenting with felt and faux leather material, and I think it turned out beautifully! I always wanted to create felt florals! See the video below for the full tutorial.

I hope you all have a fun and safe Halloween! What will you be dressing up as this year?
